Named Account Manager

About the role

Forescout, a cybersecurity company protecting critical infrastructure such as hospitals, power grids and financial systems, is looking for a Named Account Manager (NAM). The NAM works with a customer-first mindset and a strategic growth approach within a defined set of named accounts, partnering closely with Channel and Marketing to identify, develop and expand opportunities. The role focuses on long-term, trusted relationships and tailored solutions rather than transactional sales.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals, driving business transaction linearity and pipeline development.
• Pursue sales opportunities at assigned accounts and drive business development and pre-sales initiatives.
• Build in-depth knowledge of clients' priorities and challenges, becoming a trusted advisor.
• Educate customers on the value of Forescout's solutions using product, technology and industry knowledge.
• Develop multi-level relationships with internal and external resources, including channel partners, to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Manage accounts and opportunities, align with delivery teams and attend project milestones and executive reviews.

Required profile

• 8+ years of sales experience, with significant experience in Canberra.
• Proven track record of recent sales to enterprise accounts with 10,000+ employees.
• History of repeated success at every level, from school and university competitions to President's Club.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

Required skills

• Solution selling of multi-product software and hardware.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work across all levels of business contacts in large, complex organisations.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
