Motel Manager - 38 Room Property, Bundaberg

About the role

Australian Relief Management is recruiting a full-time, permanent, salaried manager for a well-maintained 38-room motel in Bundaberg. The manager takes responsibility for day-to-day motel operations, front office and reception, and oversees breakfast and dinner service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front office and reception operations
• Prepare and oversee breakfast service five mornings per week
• Oversee dinner service four evenings per week
• Work alongside the established cook and support staff
• Coordinate with the existing housekeeping team; housekeeping is in place and linen services are outsourced
• Maintain high standards of guest service and property presentation
• Ensure smooth and efficient daily motel operations

Required profile

• Previous experience in motel or caravan park management is essential
• Experience across accommodation and food and beverage operations
• Confidence preparing and managing breakfast service
• Strong leadership, organisational and front office skills
• Ability to work effectively with an established team
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Hands-on approach to daily motel operations
