About the role

Clear Tax Accountants, an accounting and advisory firm with offices across Australia and two overseas, is launching mortgage broking as a new part of its business. It is seeking an experienced, motivated Mortgage Broker for a full-time, permanent position in Brisbane. Qualified leads are provided to the broker, who has access to a large client base through the firm's accounting and advisory network.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with qualified leads provided by the firm and convert them into successful loan settlements.
• Provide tailored mortgage and finance solutions for residential, investment, SMSF, property trust and business/commercial lending.
• Work closely with the tax and accounting teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Manage the end-to-end loan process, including application, documentation, lender communication and settlement.
• Stay up to date with lender policies, compliance requirements and market trends.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships for ongoing referrals and repeat business.

Required profile

• Accredited Mortgage Broker with a valid Australian Credit Licence (ACL) or ability to be appointed as a Credit Representative under the firm's panel.
• Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Mortgage Broker.
• Strong knowledge of residential, investment and commercial lending products; experience with property trusts, SMSF lending and business clients is highly regarded.
• AFG accreditation is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and client service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
