Mid-Weight Designer – 8‑week contract

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Mid‑Weight Designer to join our fast‑paced agency in North Sydney. The role starts as an 8‑week temporary contract covering holiday leave, with a clear pathway to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Take briefs from concept through to final execution, delivering visual designs for digital and print.
• Develop eye‑catching packaging designs for baking products and prepare production‑ready finished art for print vendors.
• Create static and motion assets for social media campaigns across B2C and B2B clients.
• Design high‑impact creative for conferences, events and brand activations.
• Produce polished PowerPoint and Google Slides decks for pitches and client presentations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of design experience, preferably in an agency environment.
• Strong portfolio showing both B2B and B2C work.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude with the ability to own projects from start to finish.
• Good understanding of print processes, dielines and packaging specifications.

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator

• Animation (basic)
• Figma (knowledge a plus)
