Mid-Level IT Support Officer

About the role

HomeRepair is looking for a customer‑focused Mid‑Level IT Support Officer to join its Melbourne team. You will provide both Level 1 and Level 2 technical assistance, help employees maximise their use of technology, and contribute to projects that improve the company’s IT landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware, software, applications and connectivity issues.
• Manage employee onboarding and off‑boarding, including device provisioning and de‑provisioning.
• Create and maintain user accounts, access permissions and security settings.
• Support laptops, mobile devices, collaboration tools and meeting‑room technology.
• Maintain accurate records of technology assets and equipment.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Participate in IT projects, system upgrades and technology enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT support, service desk or end‑user computing role.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems at Level 1 and Level 2.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience managing user accounts and access permissions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities.
