Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer (C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript)

About the role

Karbon is looking for a Mid‑Level Fullstack Engineer to join its globally distributed team. You will work in an agile environment building and enhancing interactive web applications that power AI‑driven practice management software for accounting firms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new product features and improve existing functionality with a focus on reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Balance speed and quality by making thoughtful trade‑offs and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• Use data and experimentation (including A/B testing) to inform product decisions and improve acquisition and conversion.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, and other team members throughout the development cycle.
• Leverage AI tools responsibly to accelerate coding, solution exploration, and test creation while reviewing all output.
• Work autonomously, taking ownership of problems and delivering solutions without waiting for predefined answers.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building web applications with C# and the .NET ecosystem (MVC, Web API.NET Core preferred).
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for front‑end development.
• Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases and an understanding of data flow within applications.
• Curiosity, strong problem‑solving skills, and a sense of ownership over your work.
• Willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and continuously learn.
