Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer (API & Integrations)

About the role

Karbon is looking for a Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer to join its API and Integrations team. You will work in an agile environment, designing and building interactive web applications that power the world’s leading AI‑driven practice management platform for accounting firms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new product features and iteratively improve existing systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Balance speed and quality by making thoughtful trade‑offs and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• Use data and experimentation, including A/B testing, to inform product decisions and improve acquisition and conversion.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and QA throughout the development cycle to build, test, and refine features.
• Leverage AI tools responsibly to accelerate coding, solution exploration, and test creation while reviewing all output.
• Work autonomously, taking ownership of problems and proposing solutions.
• Take pride in the impact of your work on customers and the business.

Required profile

• Solid frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Ember, or equivalent).
• Comfortable working across the full stack to build rich, interactive user interfaces.
• Strong fundamentals in building web applications using C# and .NET (MVC, Web API.NET Core a plus).
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and data flow in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases.
