Mid-level Freelance Frontend Developer (React)

About the role

Rotor Studios is seeking a mid‑level freelance Front‑end Developer to join its multidisciplinary team. You will work on cutting‑edge web applications for leading automotive brands, collaborating with designers, back‑end engineers, and Unreal Engine developers in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance React‑based web applications.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high‑performance user interfaces.
• Integrate front‑end code with RESTful APIs and existing services.
• Collaborate closely with designers, back‑end developers, Unreal Engine developers and project managers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Deliver high‑quality work within project timelines while managing competing priorities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial front‑end development experience.
• Proven ability to hit the ground running and quickly understand existing codebases.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a distributed team.

• JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
• Git and modern front‑end tooling (npm, Vite, Webpack)
