Medical Science Liaison – Rheumatology

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for rheumatology will act as a scientific bridge between Johnson & Johnson’s innovative rheumatology therapies and the medical community. You will translate complex scientific data into clear, actionable information that supports treatment decisions and improves patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and clinical researchers in rheumatology.
• Disseminate clinical and scientific information about Johnson & Johnson’s rheumatology portfolio.
• Support education initiatives for stakeholders and facilitate communication of R&D activities.
• Collect and relay field insights on market needs, treatment trends, and competitive dynamics to inform business strategy.
• Represent the company at scientific conferences, advisory boards, and medical meetings.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a life‑science discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in rheumatology or related therapeutic area.
• Strong scientific communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with external experts.
• Understanding of clinical research processes and regulatory environments.
