Mechanical Service Technician

About the role

TOMRA Food is seeking a Mechanical Service Technician to deliver high‑quality field service for our sensor‑based sorting and post‑harvest equipment. You will work directly at customer sites, ensuring machines operate safely and efficiently while providing an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation, commissioning, testing, integration, optimisation and repair of equipment on‑site.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues involving sprockets, chains, belts, shafts, bearings, gearboxes, motors, rollers, frames and guarding.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, including pre‑season and post‑season servicing, to sustain machine performance.
• Communicate clearly with customers about issue status, repair plans and potential costs.
• Maintain detailed service records and provide feedback to sales leadership on service outcomes and sales opportunities.
