Mechanical Engineer – Building Services (Mid‑Level)

About the role

This role offers an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer the chance to join a collaborative building services consultancy operating across NSW, QLD and VIC. You will work on fit‑out and refurbishment projects, gaining hands‑on experience through all stages of delivery while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mechanical services design for building services projects.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants to coordinate project requirements.
• Perform mechanical calculations, equipment selections, and design assessments.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports and technical documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical services and resolve design clashes with other disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections to verify existing conditions and identify design constraints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Good understanding of Australian codes and standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Proficiency with Camel.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
