About the role

Rodney's Transport Service, a well‑established road transport company based in Sunshine West, Victoria, is looking for experienced MC/B Double Linehaul drivers to join its interstate freight team. This full‑time position involves safely moving general freight across state borders while upholding the company’s high standards for safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Operate MC/B Double vehicles to transport general freight on interstate routes.
• Follow all traffic regulations, load‑restraint procedures and safety protocols.
• Carry out pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and required documentation.
• Provide courteous customer service and ensure timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with the operations team to optimise transport efficiency.

Required profile

• Current MC/HC driver’s licence with a strong driving record.
• Proven experience driving MC/B Double vehicles, preferably on interstate general freight routes.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Commitment to safety and compliance standards.
