MC Tanker Driver

About the role

Ampol Petroleum Distribution is seeking an experienced MC driver to deliver bulk fuel across Brisbane and Greater Brisbane from its Hemmant depot. The role operates on a rotating roster and suits someone who enjoys professional driving, working independently and being part of a high-performing team. No fuel industry experience is required.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a modern MC truck tanker safely and professionally
• Complete bulk fuel deliveries
• Carry out pre-start inspections and vehicle checks
• Manage delivery documentation and compliance requirements
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism
• Work closely with a supportive operations team to ensure reliable service delivery

Required profile

• Current MC licence
• Proven heavy vehicle driving experience
• Ability to work a rotating triple-shift roster
• Reliability and a professional attitude

Required skills

• Strong safety focus
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Not essential but highly regarded: fuel transport experience, tanker experience, Dangerous Goods (DG) licence and Safe Loading Pass (SLP)
