MC Driver - Adelaide to Mildura

About the role

GTS Freight Group, a privately owned linehaul transport and logistics company, is looking for experienced MC drivers to run trips between Adelaide and Mildura, Monday to Friday, departing at 7am each day. The successful applicant loads the vehicle in Adelaide before departure. The company offers a $2,000 bonus after 3 months of service.

Key responsibilities

• Daily vehicle checks and fitness for duty
• Deliver allocated freight to the required locations within customer timeslots
• Loading and unloading
• Understanding of load restraint as per the National Load Restraint Guidelines
• Refuelling and keeping the allocated equipment clean
• Promptly reporting mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays

Required profile

• Current unrestricted MC licence
• At least 2 years of MC linehaul experience
• Reliable, enthusiastic, clear communicator and punctual
• Strong understanding and commitment to safety
• Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation is an advantage
• Eligibility for full-time employment includes a federal police check, medical and functional testing, and pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
