Mathematics Teacher – VCE Methods & Specialist Mathematics

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic VCE Mathematics Methods and Specialist Mathematics teacher to join our community at Sacré Coeur. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction to senior secondary students, fostering both academic excellence and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess VCE Mathematics Methods and Specialist Mathematics curricula.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the Victorian Curriculum and our school’s values.
• Provide targeted support and feedback to improve student outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and professional learning communities.
• Contribute to extracurricular mathematics activities and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a current registration to teach in Victoria.
• Demonstrated experience teaching VCE Mathematics Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics.
• Commitment to the holistic development of students and the school’s mission.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering VCE Mathematics Methods curriculum.
• Proficiency in delivering Specialist Mathematics curriculum.
