Mathematics Teacher – Full-Time

About the role

St Philip’s Christian College is seeking a full‑time Mathematics Teacher to join its growing network of learning communities. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction while integrating Biblical principles and fostering holistic development of students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver mathematics lessons aligned with the NESA syllabus and Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Incorporate Christian values and sound doctrine into teaching practice.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and report outcomes to parents and college stakeholders.
• Use standardised testing data to inform instructional decisions.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and manage classroom behaviour in line with college policies.
• Support the spiritual, physical, social and emotional well‑being of students.

Required profile

• Commitment to Christian education and the college’s core values.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues in team planning and teaching.
• Strong communication skills for engaging students, parents and staff.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of mathematics curriculum and pedagogy.
• Familiarity with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) syllabus.
• Understanding of Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
