Materials Controller – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Join Kraft Heinz's manufacturing team in Northgate, Queensland as a Materials Controller. You will ensure accurate material tracking, reporting and inventory management to support production continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Complete daily production reporting with end‑to‑end batch/lot traceability.
• Support production teams in recording output and material use, providing coaching and troubleshooting.
• Reconcile daily production, material consumption and inventory movements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records to prevent stock‑outs.
• Monitor and improve material issuing processes and produce variance reports.
• Recommend and implement BOM/recipe updates to reduce variances.
• Act as point of contact for shop‑floor reporting system issues and support user training.
• Perform weekly cycle counts, manage quarantined stock and handle non‑conformance transactions.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills to work with production teams and site stakeholders.
• Advanced data analysis ability using various tools.
• High attention to detail with confidence handling data, reconciliations and compliance.
• Eligibility to work in Australia with full working rights.
