Material Planner

About the role

The Material Planner will support the UH-60M Black Hawk program, providing critical supply planning and logistics support for Base and Line Maintenance operations within a dynamic Defence environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supply planning and investigation support across UH-60M Line and Base Maintenance activities.
• Act as the primary conduit between UHSPO RIM/SIM, industry warehouses, and unit maintenance planners.
• Conduct material planning to ensure inventory holdings meet maintenance capability requirements.
• Deliver detailed supply support for Phase Maintenance Inspection (PMI) activities.
• Review and analyse logistics data within Commonwealth systems.
• Collaborate with Regiment, UHSPO logistics, and maintenance teams to support ongoing operations.
• Ensure compliance with DASA regulations for aeronautical product management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Significant exposure to a Defence logistics environment.
• Strong experience using logistics and inventory management systems.
• Experience in logistics material planning or maintenance planning activities.
• Ability to analyse supply requirements and proactively manage inventory demands.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
