Manager, Site Start Up APAC

About the role

Precision for Medicine, a Clinical Research Organization, is seeking a Manager, Site Start Up APAC to lead and develop its Site Start‑Up (SSU) team across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, mentor, manage and coach SSU personnel to maintain Precision’s quality standards.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to oversee task delivery and career development.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for site start‑up activities and ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements and project plans.
• Provide resources, training, and system access needed for SSU staff to succeed.
• Design and monitor training plans, ensuring staff meet training goals.
• Oversee administrative compliance such as time entry, corporate training, billing and expense reporting.
• Participate in recruitment, CV review, interviewing and onboarding of new SSU personnel.
• Develop robust standards and processes to ensure consistent, high‑quality execution.
• Manage FTE allocation per project, aligning work billed with budgets.
• Deliver ongoing feedback, coaching and performance reviews for direct reports.
• Lead department meetings and support internal initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of clinical research experience with extensive site start‑up exposure.
• Proven line‑management and leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development process.
• Demonstrated competence in people management and teamwork.
