Manager, Renewable Energy Zones (REZ)

About the role

Lead a team delivering state‑road infrastructure with a focus on Renewable Energy projects, ensuring safety, network efficiency and asset protection while collaborating with developers, government agencies and local councils.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Project/Contract Officers delivering road and renewable energy works.
• Negotiate and administer Works Authorisation Deeds (WADs) and professional service contracts.
• Oversee developer proposals, designs and construction, balancing cost, time and quality.
• Drive safety, environmental, quality and performance outcomes across projects.
• Provide leadership in road safety, network efficiency and asset protection in complex stakeholder environments.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership and project management in land‑use planning, road/bridge construction and complex infrastructure delivery.
• Proven ability to lead developer works, negotiate WADs and manage infrastructure delivery.
• Credible collaborative leader with experience building high‑performing teams across government and industry.
• Strong expertise in contract administration, design and procurement for safe, efficient road networks.
• Experience applying WHS, environmental and risk management principles.
