Manager or Senior Manager - Strategy and Execution

About the role

EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Transaction Execution team helps clients define and achieve strategic objectives in acquisitions, divestments and strategic transformations, covering operational due diligence, operating model design, synergy assessments, integration and separation strategy, and planning and implementation. As an experienced Manager or Senior Manager, you will join an established team reporting directly to Directors and Partners. This is a hybrid position based in Warringah, Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client engagement teams and develop effective client relationships at the appropriate level, ensuring a high degree of client satisfaction.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of integrations, carve-outs and other transaction engagements.
• Apply project execution skills, including synergy assessment, project management, problem-solving and facilitation.
• Analyse and evaluate operating models and financial information.
• Identify key client risks and issues and mitigate them early.
• Work across all functions of the business during the implementation phase, touching areas of the whole organisation.

Required profile

• Ideally experience in professional services, management consulting, M&A or related corporate experience.
• Advanced problem-solving skills, curiosity and creative thinking.
• Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
