About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Manager to lead a team dedicated to supporting children and families in need. In this role you will empower staff to deliver safe, inclusive and high‑quality services while ensuring compliance with governance and financial obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and motivate staff to meet children’s safety, belonging and well‑being needs and involve families in the child protection process.
- Oversee corporate governance, financial management and human‑resource responsibilities for the service centre.
- Operate within departmental procedures, statutory, financial and administrative delegations.
- Build and maintain service delivery partnerships to enhance cross‑sector collaboration and support staff training.
- Participate in, and where appropriate lead, local area forums with government and non‑government stakeholders to foster collaboration and trust.
Required profile
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Clearance) or willingness to obtain one before start.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence (open or P2).
- Right to work in Australia (citizen, permanent resident or appropriate visa).
- Ability to hold Human Resource and Financial delegations as per relevant schedules.
