Key responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end tax advisory and compliance services supporting HR, payroll and mobility teams through the assignment lifecycle, in a cost-effective and compliant way.
- Manage global tax and regulatory complexity for business travellers and remote workers, strengthening workforce planning and cross-border mobility.
- With global teams, advise on home and host country tax obligations, assess tax residency, prepare returns and equalization settlements, and ensure audit-ready compliance across employment taxes.
- Own a diverse portfolio of inbound and outbound clients and assignees, acting as key point of contact and overseeing EY delivery teams.
Required profile
- Experience building and managing corporate mobility programs in large organisations or professional services, in-house and service provider environments.
- Strong project management and client relationship skills, especially with executive-level assignees, and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
- Experience collaborating with onshore and offshore teams and leading coaching and mentoring.
- Strategic insight, commercial awareness and the ability to deliver under pressure, including showcasing solutions such as technology demonstrations.
- Preferred: prior experience in Australian expatriate and personal tax matters, including individual tax residency, income tax, capital gains tax and employer tax and reporting obligations for employees and expatriates.
What we offer
- Career development with future-focused skills and world-class experiences.
- Flexible work arrangements.
- A benefits package including a yearly wellness incentive, an extra 8 weeks of flex leave per year, and family-friendly policies such as 26 weeks of gender-neutral paid parental leave.
- A competitive salary open to negotiation depending on skills and experience.
