Management Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Management Consultant to join Alchemy Partners’ Sydney team. The role will support complex transformation programmes for government and private‑sector clients, advising on strategy, operating‑model design and delivery improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on business transformation, operating‑model optimisation and organisational improvement.
• Support the delivery of strategic transformation programmes across public and private sectors.
• Facilitate workshops, collaboration sessions and stakeholder‑engagement activities.
• Analyse business processes, operating models and governance frameworks to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop strategic documentation, reports, presentations and transformation roadmaps.
• Support programme governance, reporting and executive decision‑making.
• Assess current‑state information flows and design future‑state data routines.
• Design and implement modern reporting frameworks and executive dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• Collaborate with client and internal teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes and support change‑management activities.
• Leverage light automation, digital workflows and artificial‑intelligence tools to improve delivery rhythm and reduce manual reporting effort.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in business, commerce or a related field.
• Proven experience in management consulting, preferably within government or regulated industries.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to design and implement operating‑model and transformation solutions.
