Mammographer

About the role

Lake Imaging, part of the Integral Diagnostics Group, is looking for an experienced Mammographer to join its new Private Diagnostic Breast Clinic in Geelong and the Geelong BreastScreen Service. The clinic offers a premium breast imaging service using state-of-the-art Contrast Enhanced Mammography.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high-level mammography independently, following professional and clinical standards within a multidisciplinary team.
• Take part in screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Participate regularly in interventional diagnostic breast imaging and assessment clinics at the BreastScreen service, performing advanced procedures.
• Contribute to competency training, skill development and clinical supervision of less experienced Mammographers.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent qualification.
• Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
• Extensive experience and competency in diagnostic breast imaging, screening mammography and assessment procedures.
• Willingness to take part in further education and continued professional development.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, strong attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
