Maintenance Planning Scheduler Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Supervisor to lead the SSC Planning and Scheduling Team. The role oversees day‑to‑day planning and scheduling of operations and maintenance work orders, ensuring efficiency and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse performance metrics and operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Provide leadership, direction and support to the planning and scheduling team, supervising daily activities.
• Oversee preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance planning, ensuring work orders are fully scoped and resourced.
• Maintain and continuously improve planning and scheduling processes, procedures, standards and work practices.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within industrial, facilities, infrastructure, utilities, defense, aviation or manufacturing environments.
• 1‑2 years in a leadership role (desirable).
• Relevant trade or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Maintenance or related discipline.
• Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or Project Management (or willingness to obtain).
• Willingness to complete medical, drug, alcohol, background checks and police clearance.

Required skills

• Experience using CMMS such as SAP PM, Pronto or Maximo.
