Maintenance Fitter – Black Swan Manufacturing (2 roles)

About the role

Monde Nissin Australia is looking for two experienced Maintenance Fitters to join the Black Swan manufacturing site in Clayton South. Reporting to the Reliability & Maintenance Manager, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and utilities equipment in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on production and utilities equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and execute timely repairs to minimise downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns with a focus on root‑cause analysis and long‑term solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS (e.g., MEX, Fiix) including work orders and parts usage.
• Assist in managing critical spare parts and consumables.
• Ensure all activities comply with site safety, food safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering – Certificate III minimum (Certificate IV desirable).
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Strong mechanical fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Use of CMMS platforms (MEX, Fiix or similar).
• Preventative maintenance techniques.
