Maintenance Electrician

About the role

A leading manufacturing company based in Perth, WA, which is a national business and growing rapidly, is looking for a Maintenance Electrician. The role ensures the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment, keeping production efficient and meeting customer demand. It is a full-time permanent position in Kardinya, working Monday to Friday on AM/PM rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to keep them performing optimally.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and resolve them.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
• Work with the production team and other Maintenance Fitters to solve equipment problems quickly.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Grade Electrical licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and manuals.
• PLC fault-finding skills.
