Machine Operator

About the role

Arnott's is looking for a Machine Operator to join its Virginia production team. You will operate and maintain packing machinery in a fast‑paced FMCG environment, ensuring consistent performance and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, changeovers, operate and troubleshoot packing equipment in line with OH&S, quality and performance standards.
• Maintain smooth operation of packing machines and feeding stations throughout the shift.
• Perform quality control checks and uphold GMP, HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively to meet daily production targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and apply 5S/Lean principles where applicable.

Required profile

• Previous machine operating experience in an FMCG environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting machinery.
• Understanding of safety, quality and team operating principles.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and strong attendance record.
