About the role
The Logistics Operator executes complex logistics and transportation operations, coordinating shipments, carrier bookings, and freight documentation. This role supports the supply chain by ensuring accurate, timely outcomes and helps improve service reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate complex shipment scheduling, carrier bookings, and freight documentation across assigned transportation lanes.
- Resolve carrier service issues, delivery exceptions, and freight discrepancies, escalating when necessary.
- Monitor open shipment status, transit performance, and delivery commitments, surfacing delays and risks.
- Maintain audit‑ready logistics records such as bills of lading, proof of delivery, and freight cost documentation.
- Compile operational performance data and carrier scorecard inputs for reporting and continuous improvement.
- Guide junior operators through procedural coaching and knowledge sharing.
Required profile
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, business administration or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics operations, transportation coordination, shipment tracking, or customer service.
