Lodge Attendant – Luxury Outback Hospitality

About the role

Intrepid Travel is seeking a passionate Lodge Attendant to join the team at Arkaba Homestead in the Flinders Ranges. This full‑time, on‑site role blends luxury hospitality with the adventure of the Australian outback, delivering memorable guest experiences each day.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a warm, seamless check‑in experience.
• Prepare and maintain beautiful dining spaces and support food‑and‑beverage service.
• Assist with housekeeping, outdoor lodge presentation, and general guest relations.
• Accompany guides on sunrise or sunset experiences to serve meals and drinks in remote locations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the homestead and remote camps.

Required profile

• Local to South Australia with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Current RSA, valid driver’s licence, and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a close‑knit team.
