Locum Radiographer – Public Hospital, Regional WA

About the role

ChoiceOne is recruiting a locum radiographer to start in February 2027 for a public hospital in regional Western Australia. The position is in a busy radiology department and lasts 6 to 12 weeks. You will perform scans on inpatients, outpatients, emergency department patients and theatre cases, using a Philips CT and Siemens and Philips general X-ray equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of scans in General X-Ray and CT
• Scan inpatients, outpatients, ED patients and theatre cases
• Work on weekday shifts starting at 7am, 8am, 8.30am or 9am, and weekend shifts from 9.30am to 6pm
• Be rostered on-call from 7pm to 7am Monday to Friday and 6pm to 9.30am on weekends, and attend recalls out of hours

Required profile

• AHPRA registration and a current radiation licence for WA or an eligible state (NSW, ACT, VIC or SA)
• Ability to work independently in CT, including as the sole radiographer out of hours
• Competence in cannulation
• Working rights in Australia and a Working with Children Check (WA)
