Litigation Lawyer (3-5 yrs) – Sydney

About the role

Cornwalls is seeking a qualified litigation lawyer with 3‑5 years of post‑qualification experience to join its Sydney Litigation team. You will work alongside senior practitioners on high‑value commercial disputes and inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage large and complex commercial disputes heard in Supreme or Federal Courts.
• Participate in various commissions of inquiry.
• Represent sophisticated corporate clients across sectors such as property, finance, government and construction.
• Collaborate with senior and junior counsel on pre‑eminent matters.

Required profile

• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience as a litigation lawyer handling commercial disputes.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex cases in Supreme or Federal Courts.
• Proven ability to act for large corporate clients in contentious matters.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously with a client‑service focus.
