Litigation & Dispute Resolution Senior Associate (Brisbane)

About the role

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in Brisbane. You will work on high‑quality, complex matters across a range of industries, providing strategic advice and managing disputes from inception to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic legal advice and manage complex litigation matters autonomously.
• Appear in court and represent clients in regulatory investigations and prosecutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, contributing to their development.
• Collaborate with senior practitioners on client development and practice growth initiatives.
• Handle a variety of disputes, including commercial, corporate, ACL claims, property, and defamation matters.

Required profile

• 7+ years post‑admission experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Experience in a comparable international or top‑tier law firm.
• Strong technical legal skills and sound commercial judgement.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with excellent client service.
• Strong written, oral and organisational capabilities.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development is highly regarded.
