About the role

The Lifestyle Assistant helps residents stay active, connected and engaged by delivering a range of fun and meaningful daily activities. Working within a supportive team, you will create an inclusive environment where older Australians feel valued and enjoy purposeful experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate social, creative and recreational activities for residents.
• Encourage participation and support residents in trying new experiences.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere during all activities.
• Collaborate with care staff to tailor activities to individual needs.
• Document activity outcomes and resident feedback.

Required profile

• A positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
• Confidence in engaging with people and building relationships.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive, organised approach.
• Creativity and willingness to try new activities.
