Lifestyle Assistant – Support Residents' Activities

About the role
The Lifestyle Assistant helps residents stay active, connected and engaged by delivering a range of fun and meaningful daily activities. Working within a supportive team, you will create an inclusive environment where older Australians feel valued and enjoy purposeful experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate social, creative and recreational activities for residents.
- Encourage participation and support residents in trying new experiences.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere during all activities.
- Collaborate with care staff to tailor activities to individual needs.
- Document activity outcomes and resident feedback.
Required profile
- A positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
- Confidence in engaging with people and building relationships.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, organised approach.
- Creativity and willingness to try new activities.
