About the role

Bolton Clarke is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and creative Lifestyle Assistant to join its team at the Marten Aged Care facility in Largs North. The role focuses on enhancing the wellbeing of older Australians through meaningful activities, social engagement, and genuine connection.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging recreational and social programs for residents.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with residents and encourage participation.
• Create a vibrant, inclusive, and enjoyable environment within the aged‑care home.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and active involvement in daily activities.
• Assist with documentation and basic computer tasks related to program delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in aged care or a similar community setting.
• Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent) – highly desirable.
• Current First Aid Certificate with CPR.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Check and/or NDIS Workers Check prior to start.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (preferred).
• Current First Aid (CPR) certification.
• Basic computer literacy for record‑keeping and program scheduling.
