Lifestyle Assistant – Aged Care

About the role

The Lifestyle Assistant helps residents stay active, connected and engaged by delivering a variety of fun and meaningful daily activities. You will work within a supportive team to create a warm, inclusive environment where older Australians feel valued and encouraged to enjoy life.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and facilitate social, creative and recreational activities tailored to residents' abilities and interests.
• Encourage participation and support residents in trying new experiences.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment during all activities.
• Record attendance and feedback to help improve future programmes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive daily schedule.

Required profile

• A positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
• Confidence in engaging with people and building relationships.
