Level 3 Engineer – Microsoft Cloud Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a senior Level 3 Engineer to lead Microsoft cloud transformation projects for a growing Managed Services Provider. You will design, migrate and optimise Microsoft‑focused solutions, acting as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure and Microsoft 365 migration projects to Azure.
• Design and implement modern Microsoft cloud solutions.
• Provide Level 3 technical escalation support across diverse client environments.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and authentication services.
• Deploy and maintain Microsoft Intune policies and device‑management solutions.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 rollouts, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams.
• Configure Azure networking, virtual machines, storage and backup services.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Implement networking solutions using Cisco Meraki and Aruba equipment.
• Deploy Microsoft security technologies like Defender, Sentinel and Essential Eight controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft cloud transformation projects within an MSP environment.
• Hands‑on experience migrating on‑premises workloads to Azure.
• Strong background designing and administering Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft 365.
• Solid knowledge of Azure infrastructure, Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid cloud setups.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki and Aruba networking.
• Virtualisation expertise in VMware or Hyper‑V.
• PowerShell automation and Microsoft cloud administration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑focused managed services setting.
