Legal Secretary - Litigation Practice

About the role

A global top-tier law firm based in its Perth CBD office is hiring a Legal Secretary to support two partners and a small number of senior lawyers in its busy litigation practice, covering defendant insurance and regulatory, and commercial litigation matters. The role focuses on partner and senior-level support, as junior lawyers are supported separately. It is full-time in the office for the first six months, then permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Diary and inbox management
• Travel booking
• Expenses
• Light billing, with additional billing support provided by the wider team
• Document formatting, preparation and file management
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Required profile

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally in litigation or insurance
• Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
• Proactive, team-focused attitude
• Full Australian work rights; applications from students will not be considered
