About the role
Mercor is seeking a Legal Diligence Specialist to evaluate AI‑generated legal artifacts. This remote position focuses on ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of contracts, diligence reports, and redlines produced by AI models.
Key responsibilities
- Assess AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks against domain‑specific quality rubrics.
- Identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors in legal artifacts.
- Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve AI model outputs.
- Review work products for accuracy, rigor, and domain relevance.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI performance.
Required profile
- 5+ years of professional experience in legal contracts, diligence, or redlining.
- Native or professional fluency in English.
- Advanced degree (Master's or higher) from a reputable institution (preferred).
Required skills
- Microsoft Office
- Google Workspace (especially Slides)
