Legal Counsel

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a high‑performing Legal Counsel to join its ANZ Commercial Legal team. The role supports sales, professional services and alliance teams across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring contracts are robust, compliant and aligned with corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and draft a variety of agreements, including master subscription, professional services, data processing addenda, alliance and NDA contracts.
• Collaborate with sales, revenue recognition, pricing and operations teams to streamline contracting and order processing.
• Partner with privacy, security and compliance departments to ensure contractual consistency with internal policies.
• Provide legal and commercial support for existing contracts and assist in dispute resolution.
• Maintain compliance with Australian and New Zealand laws and regulations.
• Develop and deliver training materials on relevant legal topics.
• Contribute to the team’s knowledge base, skills development and cross‑regional projects.

Required profile

• Undergraduate LLB or postgraduate law degree from a recognised university.
• Valid practising certificate in an Australian jurisdiction.
• 1‑3 years post‑qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Excellent legal drafting ability, strong attention to detail and sound legal reasoning.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and adaptability.
