Legal Counsel

About the role

Stellar Entertainment is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its global inflight entertainment business. The role involves handling a wide range of legal and commercial matters, working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient operations while managing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as airline service agreements, content licensing, technology and software contracts, vendor and supplier contracts, procurement and consultancy agreements.
• Identify legal, operational and commercial risks and provide pragmatic recommendations.
• Develop and maintain legal templates, contract playbooks and internal approval processes.
• Support content acquisition and licensing activities, advise on copyright, IP and usage rights, and coordinate with external IP counsel when needed.
• Assist with corporate governance, regulatory compliance, company secretarial matters and monitor relevant legal developments.
• Provide employment and general legal support to Finance, HR, Technology, Operations and Commercial teams.
• Manage relationships with external legal advisers worldwide and support dispute resolution.
• Contribute to major tenders, RFP submissions, strategic commercial projects and business improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Ability to work across diverse legal and commercial matters in a global media and technology environment.
• Experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong commercial focus with the capacity to develop scalable legal processes.
