Legal Assistant – Work Injuries (Perth)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Assistant to join our Work Injuries team in Perth. You will support a senior leader on WorkCover disputes, handling client communications, file administration, and court document preparation in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming client enquiries, provide timely updates and manage expectations.
• Administer client files from opening to closure, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Draft client correspondence and prepare court documents as required.
• Arrange diaries, appointments and meetings for the team.
• Process incoming mail, prepare client bills and perform general administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a plaintiff law firm or professional services environment (desirable).
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail.
• Judgement to escalate issues appropriately to supervisors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
