Legal Assistant – Litigation Support

About the role

IDP Lawyers is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support its litigation team on WorkCover and TAC matters. You will provide essential administrative and secretarial assistance to lawyers, ensuring smooth case management and timely court filings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, format and manage legal correspondence, court documents and briefs.
• Maintain electronic files, document filing systems and general matter administration.
• Coordinate diaries, court dates, appointments and deadlines.
• File documents with courts and relevant authorities.
• Support lawyers with day‑to‑day administration of litigation matters.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting WorkCover and/or TAC litigation matters.
• Sound understanding of personal injury litigation processes and terminology.

Required skills

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong document production abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, dependable and team‑oriented approach.
