Lecturer or Senior Lecturer – Aerospace Engineering

About the role

The School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Adelaide seeks an outstanding researcher and educator in Aerospace Engineering. The position is offered at Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) level on a full‑time, continuing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in aerospace dynamics, modelling, computation, and aerodynamics.
• Develop and lead high‑impact interdisciplinary research programmes, including clean‑energy technologies.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, industry partners, and government stakeholders on applied projects.
• Mentor and supervise graduate students and contribute to academic leadership within the school.

Required profile

• Established academic with a strong research track record in Aerospace Engineering.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and student engagement.
• Experience in securing external research funding and building industry partnerships.
