Lecturer (Level A) – Social Work

About the role

The School of Social Work and Social Care at the Whyalla Campus seeks a Level A Lecturer to deliver high‑quality Social Work education, support student success, and contribute to research that benefits regional communities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Social Work teaching sessions.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
• Develop teaching materials and resources that foster active learning.
• Participate in scholarly activities, including research and community engagement.
• Contribute to the development of socially responsive curricula addressing real‑world challenges.

Required profile

• Formal qualification in Social Work.
• Minimum five years full‑time professional or sector experience post‑graduation.
• Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
• Proven ability to manage teaching‑related administrative tasks.
• Experience preparing high‑quality teaching resources.
