Learning Support Officer – Junior School (Primary)

About the role

St Kevin’s College is seeking a Learning Support Officer to join its Junior School (Glendalough) from June 2026. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to provide targeted assistance to primary‑age students, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with teachers and the Learning Diversity team to identify and address each child’s specific learning needs.
• Review, interpret and act on assessment results and learning plans.
• Maintain accurate records of support interventions and student progress.
• Participate in Parent‑Student‑Teacher (PSG) meetings and contribute to collaborative planning.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a learning support or similar educational role.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic school community.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Commitment to the College’s child‑safety policies and procedures.
