Leadership Development Consultant

About the role

The Leadership Development Consultant will design, deliver and continuously improve leadership development solutions that support AP+’s strategic priorities. Working on a six‑month fixed‑term, part‑time basis (two onsite days per week), you will partner with the People, Culture & Capability team and business leaders to create engaging learning experiences that enhance leadership effectiveness and drive cultural change.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and refine leadership development programs, learning pathways and capability‑building initiatives aligned with AP+’s leadership principles and strategic goals.
• Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to translate capability priorities into practical development solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, cohort programmes and team interventions that build leadership capability and improve organisational performance.
• Provide trusted advice on learning strategy, facilitation approaches and leadership development best practices.
• Manage delivery of learning initiatives, ensuring high‑quality participant experiences and outcomes.
• Support leaders and teams in embedding new behaviours through targeted change enablement and reinforcement activities.
• Apply leadership assessment tools and evaluation methods to identify gaps, measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating leadership development programmes in complex organisations.
• Strong facilitation skills with a track record of leading workshops and cohort sessions for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to partner with leaders to diagnose capability needs and develop practical solutions.
• Systemic mindset and passion for building leadership capability that drives real change.
