Lead Platform Engineer

About the role

Fractal is seeking a proactive Lead Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain DevOps tooling and cloud‑native infrastructure that supports enterprise‑scale data migrations and seamless software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of GCP platforms, secure landing zones, and IaC blueprints using Terraform.
• Define enterprise‑wide DevOps practices, build CI/CD pipelines, and implement disaster recovery and cost‑optimization strategies.
• Develop security frameworks, compliance monitoring, and identity‑access management solutions.
• Mentor the DevOps team, collaborate with cross‑functional groups, and drive technical decision‑making.
• Evaluate new tools, optimize existing infrastructure, and champion continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10‑12+ years of overall experience with 6‑8 years in DevOps/Data DevOps.
• Strong background in cloud‑native solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven leadership in platform architecture, security, and cost management.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
