Lead Educator - Early Childhood

About the role

Community Kids Victoria Point, part of G8 Education, is looking for an experienced, Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to join its team of qualified Early Childhood professionals. The centre offers indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms with age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and runs from 6:00am to 6:00pm, catering for up to 101 children. The role suits someone who wants to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for children aged 0-5 years.

Required profile

• Acecqa-approved Certificate 3 or Diploma qualification in Children's Services
• Proven educator experience in an early childhood service working with children aged 0-5 years
• Current Working with Children Check / Blue Card / DCSI clearance
• First Aid certificate

Required skills

• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Understanding of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
